Welcome to our first Kids' Series!!
Take a trip around the world with us, guided by the traditions and history of tea
Beginning in Brodheadsville, Pa - located at Simply Sage; we will introduce the basics of tea. Every other Sunday we will gather together to explore a new culture & tea tradition from around the world!
- Visit China & learn the art of tea, beginning with its origins...
- In Japan we explore the discipline & artistry behind the Matcha ceremony.
- We'll travel through India - the home of chai, experience Morocco's mint tea, & touch down to find a native shrub found only on the coast of South Africa!
- Finally, we land back home in the Poconos, taking one final journey with tea around the Appalachian mountains; learning the various plants & herbs native to our homeland that are perfect for a nice pot of tea
Each lesson includes a demonstration of various styles of tea ceremony & hospitali-tea traditions. A culinary treat from Dundaa's Kitchen will be provided for each child to enjoy an added taste of the culture! Plus a "Tea Passport" workbook will be included to record their experience along the way
Classes are available to register individually, but the course is designed to be experienced in full! Seats are limited to 10 spots for each class, & we're opening an early registration option for the Holidays!!

***Classes will be held every other Sunday, beginning on March 1st. Each class will be held at Simply Sage in Brodheadsville, starting at 4pm and running approximately 1 hour.***
The course material is designed for children ranging in ages from 5 years old to 12 years old. The bulk of the class will be focused on hands-on experiences with the tea; including taste testing, various styles of pouring and brewing, blending herbs, and so much more!
